"Peepli Live"-Aamir's heartbreaking comedy

AAMIR KHAN'S "PEEPLI LIVE" to premiere at MELBOURNE FILM FESTIVAL

Aamir Khans much talked about home production "Peepli Live" is all set to be premiered at the upcoming Melbourne International Film Festival 2010 along with 4 other Bollywood upcoming movies under a special category called "Not Quite Bollywood".
Coming towards Peepli Live which is written and directed by Anusha Rizvi is a satrie which revolves around a villager from Central India called Natha,his brother Budhia and his family.The film is about to loose their land because they are unable to pay the loan,when,they hear of a Government programme which offers the family of any farmer committing suicide a compensation of rupees 100,000.
The film has already made waves at Sundance and other film feastivals abroad and is soon to be released on 13th August 2010.
Lets hope for the best as it's a MR.PERFECTIONIST HOME PRODUCTION!

Bollywoods own Khiladi Akshay Kumar this time brings you Patiala House in which the actor plays cricketer.He shot for the movie at some of the London's historical stadiums with some of the top international level cricketers.
A lot of real life cricketers will be seen with Akshay this time sharing the screen with him like Pakistani cricketer Kamran Akmal,former English player David Gower and Balwinder Singh Sadhu are also in the film.
Akshay this time will be hoping that like his earlier release Singh Is King in which he played a Sardar as well,he once again hits the jackpot with Patiala House.

MEET THE NEW SPIDER-MAN:ANDREW GARFIELD

After a comprehensive world wide search Andrew Garfield has been chosen to portray Peter Parker as Spider Man swings back again onto the screen in its 4th installment.
He is one of the most highly regarded and upcoming actors in UK.He received a best actor BAFTA in 2008 and is presently working in a Facebook movie called "Social Network" opposite Jesse Eisenberg and Justin Timberlake.He will also be in a movie entitled "Never Let Me Go" with Carey Mulligan and Keira Knightley.
Lets wait and watch for this Spider Man as he needs to satisfy the comic book fans...!

"JAL THE BAND" TO COMPOSE FOR TOP INDIAN MOVIES

This will not be the first time when the two countries i.e. Pakistan and India will be united through films and music.It has always improved the emotional bond between the citizens of the two nations.
This time "Jal" has got the opportunity to compose music for a couple of bollywood movies including Kaizad Gustad's and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's next flicks.
It has been an easy entry for the band in bollywood as composers since their original melodies found easy audience and that is the reason the band is planning to launch it's third album in India this July.
The band is really thrilled about their album and would love to do more composition for Indian movies in future as well!
